Bob Bullard is a nationally known and highly respected educator and civic leader. Of his more than 42 years in education, 40 have been spent in various leadership and teaching positions at Lake Forest Country Day School on the North Shore of Chicago.
Bob’s experience with young people and his involvement in a number of important civic and social services organizations are significant assets to be tapped into by Campus2Career’s clients.
On the education side, at Lake Forest Country Day School, Bob is currently Interim Head of Upper School, Assistant Head of School for Alumni & External Relations and teaches Social Studies. During his impressive tenure, Bob has held these positions of responsibility: teacher and coach, Chair of the LFCDS History Department, Director of Admissions, Director of Financial Aid, a member of the LFCDS Capital Campaign Steering Committee, Director of Secondary School Placement and Assistant Head Master.
Bob’s civic and voluntary positions over the years include: member of the Lake Bluff School Caucus, member of the Lake Forest College Alumni Board of Governors, Deacon and Elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, Advisory Board member of Baytree National Bank and Trust Company, member and Treasurer for the Secondary School Admission Test Board, Board member and Board President of the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Historical Society and member of the Board of Linking Efforts Against Drugs (LEAD).
Complementing Bob’s formal educational activities are his commitments to young people through his long standing role as: an advisor to students, an independent consultant for boarding schools, a partner with the Career Counseling office at Lake Forest College and a volunteer at a nearby homeless shelter.
Bob’s wife Sally is Head of the Lower School at Lake Forest Country Day School. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. Bob enjoys golf, cycling, gardening and reading and is a keen fan of the Chicago Black Hawks. Bob received his BA and M/LS from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois.
