Thomas E. Cleveland is a managing partner and co-founder of Access Business Finance, an asset-based lender established in 1996 providing working capital financing primarily to small and medium sized businesses nationwide.
Tom began his career in 1971 with Bank of America. He accomplished the successful turnaround of Gibraltar Savings of Washington, as President and CEO. He was also the founder, Chairman and CEO of Enterprise Bank, which was subsequently sold to Washington Mutual. Enterprise Bank specialized in lending to businesses and professionals.
Tom served as Chairman of the Twelfth District Advisory Council to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco until his retirement from the Board in January, 2007. Tom also served as a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Seattle Branch and Chairman of the Audit Committee. Tom graduated from the University of Arizona and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Tom and his wife Debbie live on Mercer Island near Seattle.
